Events News

The EU's research for the benefit of SMEs call for project proposals takes place annually and in 2010 offered a budget of €189.000.000 for new researcher-SME collaborations around innovative, commercially marketable research and development.

SESAME goes on as SESAME-S

SESAME project has officially finished on November 30, 2010.

However, a new project SESAME-S, that follows up SESAME, has been accepted for funding by FFG.

The goal of the project SESAME-S (SEmantic SmArt Metering – Services for Energy Efficient Houses) is to design, develop and set on the market commercial services on the basis of enablers for energy efficiency, developed in the SESAME project.

SESAME-S has started on April 1, 2011, and will run for 18 months.

SESAME was presenting at European Semantic Technology Conference (ESTC’10) in Vienna, on December 2-3, 2010, as a booth displaying the demonstrator and an invited lecture overviewing the project developments.
